There is a job vacancy for Policy Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (PPME) Officer. A reputable public service organisation wishes to appoint competent and qualified persons to fill the vacant position.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the initiation / formulation, review and coordination of policies, programmes and plans on Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation sectors.
  • Design and ensure the application of monitoring and evaluation systems for purposes of assessing the sector’s operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor the targets of policies, programmes and projects in line with the sector’s goals and objectives.
  • Study and review all existing government and ministerial policies relating to the Ministry and its Agencies;
  • Educate staff of the Ministry and its Agencies on all government policy documents (GSGDA, Budget Statement, SONA) relating to their operations and activities
  • Establish and compile a three-year rolling development program of all activities of the Ministry and its Agencies; forming the backbone of the medium-term expenditure framework;

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of Master’s Degree in Sociology, Planning or any related Social Science disciplines from a reputable institution.
  • Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation
