This involves working closely with senior executives to ensure that staff are informed of developments. This requires communicating through several channels such as intranet, email bulletins, social media and regular newsletters.

Responsibilities:

Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior management
Support PR strategy
Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
Research and share relevant industry news/ information
Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin.
Keep staff abreast of progress and answer their questions relevant to management communiques
Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team
Develop internal social media channels to communicate with staff internally
Deliver presentations at organisational events, such as staff durbars
Draft messages or scripts from/for senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form?
Ensure internal communication messages are consistent across all medium
Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
Mange staff engagements
Regularly advise senior executives of organizational/ industry developments

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations
5 years’ experience in similar role
Professional qualification from the Institute of Public Relations or the Institute of Marketing
Relevant working experience in a similar capacity
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
