The services of a Fullstack Developer is needed At PolicyCon. The position holder will report to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO).
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing frontend website architecture
- Designing user interactions on web pages
- Developing back-end website applications
- Ensuring cross-platform optimisation for mobile phones
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Technical Skills Required (Hard Skills):
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and NodeJS
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, and PHP
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
- Designing and developing APIs
- Creating servers and databases for functionality
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure will be an added advantage
Soft Skills:
- Takes initiative, is a self-starter, loves to work with a startup and in an unstructured environment.
- Very organised
- Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent listening skills with the greatest of patience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Willing to work in a solid inter-cultural team
- Has the ability to multitask
