Work according to total quality management principles & ensure zero defect objectives & safety.
Adhere to site’s Environmental Management Plan.
Gather information for the Superintendent – HME/LV & Lifting Equipment and Trucks for reporting performance
Conduct periodic audits of all the state of usage of Lifting Equipment and Trucks
Conduct reviews of the HME refurbishment, later maintenance, to identify actions for continuous improvement and that operability to requirements is ensured
Execute regular controls on maintenance and operations work quality, according to standards, timeliness and AGAG compliance.
Execute refurbishment, later maintenance, work checks on a routine scheduled basis.

Work compliantly with the requirement of Government of Ghana Agencies, environmental, health & safety legislation and AGAG regulation
Accept personal responsibility for his own health and safety and that of every mine worker affected by his work
Adhere to site’s Environmental Management Plan
Interface with Contractors as directed and/or Construction teams regarding cranage/ mechanical work tasks for refurbishment works and planned works that support the overall work plan, schedule and expectations.
Attend training, development and performance improvement training as required

Conduct weekly conveyor belt cut and weight meter calibration as well as silting test
Conduct daily tanks profiles (three times) on every shift as well as daily scats rates for all mills, measure ball charge and record results.
Monitor lime, steel balls and lead nitrate addition to achieve optimum levels.
Monitor and ensure the smooth performance of oxygen plant, cyanide sparging facility, TAC 1000 cyanide analyzer and WAD cyanide analyzer.
