Ras Kuuku openly said in an interview a while ago that he didn’t know Joe Mettle until he won the Artiste of the Year in 2017.
‘Ye Obua Mi’ crooner, Joe Mettle in what some may describe as a ‘comeback’ has said he never knew Ras Kuuku until his VGMA plaque got missing.
The vocalist of “Ye Obua Mi” was unknown to Ras Kuuku until he received the VGMA Artist of the Year award in 2017, the rapper said in an interview with Andy Dosty.
Joe’s comment comes after Ras Kuuku revealed in an interview with Andy Dosty that he didn’t know who the “Ye Obua Mi” singer was until he won the VGMA Artiste of the Year category in 2017.
Jokingly, Joe Mettle stated, “I didn’t know Ras Kuuku until his VGMA plaque went stolen,” when speaking with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Thursday.
In other news, Martina Dwamena, a popular Ghanaian TikToker who goes by the online handle Asantewaa, has revealed the fee she charges for each post she makes to promote music on the TikTok video-sharing app.
The popular social media artist said she bases her charges on the song’s content in an exclusive conversation with Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana for Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo program.
The manager of Asantewaa, who was present in the studio, hinted that the song’s lyrics and musical style will help them determine the kind of content to produce and the price to charge for the post.
According to Cassious, Asantewaa’s manager, when musicians hire them to promote their songs on their site, they typically charge around GHc3,000 per post.
Asantewaa, on the other hand, stated that even when the artist contacts them for a deal, some of these music promotions are carried out for no charge.
