Ghanaian actress, Emelia Brobbey had stated in recent times that she needs encouragement to continue with music. “I need encouragement to go far with music” she stated.

In an interview on Graphic Showbiz, Emelia Brobbey indicated that she needs massive support to grow her music career. 

Emelia Brobbey is one of Ghana’s finest and decorated actresses who has now ventured into music. Her first single, Fa me Ko, made waves in the country amid backlashes. Among such critics was people recommending to her to focus on her acting career and stop singing.

“I’m doing music now because it has been a long-held passion, and I need encouragement to go far to the long haul with it,” she said.

She again added that religion should not be a blockade for her to do exploits with music. This was after she was asked why she chose to do secular music.

“I’m a Christian. And i believe in the doctrines of the religion. But I don’t think that should be a limit to exploring my musical talent. ”

The entrepreneur, actress, presenter and now musician is promoting her new track, ‘Emelia’ and calls for support from all and sundry.

Who is Emelia Brobbey? 

Emelia Brobbey is a Ghanaian actress, musician, and TV host. At the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016, she won Best Indigenous Actress of the Year and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

In 2018, she was named Best Ghallywood Actress and Best Philanthropist at the 3G Awards in New York, and in 2019, she was named Best Female Indigenous Act at the African Film Academy Awards’ ZAFAA Global Awards.
