Mr. Drew, a Ghanaian Afropop singer, has disclosed that Diana Asamoah doesn’t mind if he uses her name in songs.
He also revealed that he has worked on a song with renowned gospel vocalist Diana Asamoah.
In an interview with Doreen Avio on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, he expressed his admiration for the renowned gospel singer and revealed that the song they recorded in 2021 will be released shortly.
“We previously recorded a song together last year, and it will be released soon,” he added.
Mr. Drew recalled his first meeting with the gospel singer and stated that he appreciates being in her company since she is entertaining.
“I enjoy worrying her since she is a very calm, bubbly, and entertaining person who has no objection to my putting her name in most of my songs,” he explained.
“Diana Asamoah eei” is a recurring refrain in Mr. Drew’s songs.
Mr. Drew, who is on a media tour in support of his new single, ‘Dayana,’ also stated that his song, “Mood,” was popular on digital platforms. “S3K3” had taken over the streets.
“If you’re on the streets, ‘S3K3’ is on another level,” he explained, “but if you’re talking about the internet stores, ‘Mood’ is huge.”
Mr. Drew also revealed that an international song is being remixed for his ‘mood’ song, and so fans should expect a hit.
