Caltech admits Prempeh’s Eden to study.

Eden Nana Obeng, a Prempeh College representative in the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), is moving to the United States to complete his education.

He has been accepted to Caltech, the California Institute of Technology, where he will continue his education.

The NSMQ21 was won by Prempeh College, with PRESEC and KETASCO coming in second and third place, respectively.

Prempeh College’s member of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) team has been accepted to one of the US most prominent universities.

Eden Nana Kyei Obeng will attend the California Institute of Technology (CalTech) after winning the 2021 NSMQ for his alma institution.

Eden, who was regarded the team’s rock, received all A’s in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and was accepted at Caltech.

The Prempeh College former student is the first student from a public Ghanaian high school to obtain admission to this extremely elite university in years, according to the NSMQ website.

Abdul Majeed Abdullah and Evans Oppong, Eden’s colleagues, were accepted to their first-choice universities and programs.

Majeed is in his first year at the University of Ghana Medical School, while Evans is studying Electrical Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Prempeh College won the NSMQ championship for the fifth time after accumulating 53 points.
